Herts Hagan (Jose)

Herts comes from a family of dancers. Since the age of 8 he has danced all types of dances,

studied the art of dancing, choreography and became a dance teacher when he was 24 years old

having danced for 15 years on a variety of stages.

He is a member of the National Dance Teachers Association (NDTA).

He also writes and composes songs, plays guitar in his free time & meditates for over 40 years. Tango, Salsa,

Blues, Ceroc, Jive & International dance are also his present hobbies.

 

From the health points: He is practicing

and learnt The Ronnie Gardiner Method (www.rgreminternational.com), help people with brains injuries,

diseases & healthy brains and Stroke and couples to have & bring children to the world. He is now helping with his

Tango classes to improves Balance, Mobility in patients with Parkinson decease, Dementia, Cure Depression, Stroke,

Stress, Reduce distress & Insomnia, Anxiety, and Knee problems, Backache, Muscle problems.

 

Once he discovered the Argentine Tango he couldn't stop, became addicted, and learned the tango, Vals, and milonga

together with choreography by many qualified teachers in the UK and abroad, including well-known Argentinian

teachers. He does  visit, dance in Argentina, Barcelona, Tenerife, Italy, Israel, regularly meet and explored his

knowledge further in the tango technique and choreography. He has invited guest teachers to the UK to our

various venues. He also invented the magic of learning in FOUR weeks, the Tango, Milonga, Vals in simple 6 STEPS. 

 

From Business points: he is business & properties consultants, helping many in investing & making

handsome profits without any risks.


Herts teaches dancing and his unique technique in London,, Basingstoke, Hook,  St Albans, Bournemouth, Brighton &

Eastbourne in the UK and has already requested to teach in some other locations in the UK & Europe  & far east

preparing couples for their first wedding dance, private lessons, and preparing individuals for TV

shows and competitions. He took part in 'Got to Dance' the Sky TV dance show.

 

and is now developing a new dance 'Anglo Tango™  ' which will be introduced in 2022, already registered as 'Trade Mark'. " Tango can make you smarter"

Herts graduated as a TV Broadcast, Audio & Video Engineer, working 5 years in TV Broadcasting.

Guillermo Torrens

 

Guillermo Torrens was born in Argentina and Tango soon became his life. He watched

it performed in houses, theaters, at Milongas, and in the streets and longed to Tango 

professionally himself. His studies began in Rosario, Argentina with the legendary

Orlando Paiva along with Claudio Omar and Maria Veronica and intensified when he

moved to Buenos Aires in 2002 to study with teachers such as the “Maestro de

Maestros” Raul Bravo along with Angela Ruth Manonellas, Silvio Lavia and Mimi

Santana. 

 

While he was living in Rosario his education in the arts covered more areas

apart from dance and was enriched with studies in acting with Hector Ansaldi.

 

Studying classical dance at an early age influenced Guillermo. His artistic background

has a strong emphasis on technique and dance interpretation. He studied ballet at

Teatro Colon with Liliana Belfiore, a former Prima Ballerina of the English National

Ballet Company. Even now he continues to learn from other excellent teachers.

 

Guillermo has performed in many shows and theatres in Argentina such as Teatro el

Circulo (Rosario), Teatro fundacion Astengo (Rosario), Teatro La Cooperacion

(Rosario), Teatro Colon (Bs. As.), Teatro Nacional Cervantes (Bs. As.),Teatro Avenida

(Bs As), Centro Cultural Borges (Bs.As.), Teatro El Globo (Bs. As.), Teatro El Cubo (Bs. As.) as well as at Casas de Tango such as Confiteria Ideal, Cafe Tortoni, Esquina Homero Manzi. He has been also member of the Ballet de Tango Pichincha, Ballet de Atilio Sanchez, Cuballet Rosario, Koi Ballet, Compania de Liliana Belfiore, Ballet Neoclasico de Bs. As., Compania Ballet con Humor.

 

From 2005 until 2007 he was the tango partner of Liliana Belfiore and together they participated in different shows and events and were invited to appear in TV shows. Guillermo has also performed outside of Argentina in many countries such as Brazil and in Europe. 

 

In 2007 he toured around the UK as the lead dancer in Tango Nuevo with the Tango Siempre Company.

 

In 2011 Guillero performed with his partner Maria at the Midnight Tango show tour in UK and he continued with the Midnight Tango show at West End theatres in London and the national (UK) tours in 2012 and 2013.

 

Guillermo's latest performing work includes his appearance on the ITV live show "This Morning" and the "Classic Brits Awards 2012" at the Royal Albert Hall dancing the music of Miloš Karadagli?. 

 

He also appears at the DVD of the "Midnight Tango" show which was released in 2011.

The latest projects include dance performances for the national tour of internationally renowned tango singer Martin Alvarado.

 

Guillermo is an experienced choreographer.

He has choreographed many of the shows and exhibitions with which he’s been involved.

He has taught in Argentina, Switzerland, and the UK, including tuition for the Northern Tango Society.

At present, he teaches with Maria for their own tango school Tangounlimited and they are

also involved with teaching tango in schools.

Tovael Hagai

 

Tovael was born in London to a 4th generation family of dancers. BA in Marketing Medias, She started dancing

from the age of 5 and has been performing in an Israeli Dance youth group for 20 years in a variety of locations

across the UK & Europe, including central London, Birmingham, and Warwick.

 

Tovael carried on dancing throughout her academic life and branched into other styles of dance whilst

studying for her BA (Hons) Marketing Communications degree at Bournemouth University. She was a keen

member of the Dance Society and grew to love Tap and Hip Hop where her dance group placed 1st in Tap

and Ballet at the Sheffield University Dance Competition in 2014, teaching dance in classes , wedding and events.

 

In her spare time back in London, Tovael started taking on Salsa lessons in Camden whilst also developing

 her knowledge of the Argentine Tango from her father. Since graduating from University, Tovael has used

her skills and helped with the marketing of Tango El Mundo around London, UK & Europe.

 

It is too early for her father to retire from teaching and it is too early for Tovael to take over teaching dance, 

not before learning more from the top teachers from visiting Argentina in due course.  

Alex Barberi 

 

Alex Barberi was born in Italy, Tango and teaching became his life. He performed in houses, theatres, Milongas, in the streets, and all over Europe. and longed to Tango professionally himself. In Argentina, he took part in the Argentina world tango festival and competition legendary

when he dance in Buenos Aires in 2015, representative of England when he won the best dancer to spring 2015 with Maria. 

 

Now he joints Tango El Mundo as a regular teacher for the group and private sessions for intermediates and advanced levels.
